This includes implementing accounting policies and procedures, reconciling balance sheet accounts, assisting with AR and AP as necessary, posting month-end closing entries based on a schedule, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Also works closely with other members of the management team to provide financial analysis and support for decision-making. This role will be hybrid from our Grandview Heights corporate office. Duties may include, but are not limited to:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Essential Functions:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Verify and record month-end close entries</li>\n<li>Perform account analysis based on a closing schedule</li>\n<li>Assist with managing and forecasting cash flow, based on upcoming projects, expenditures, investments, and tax liabilities</li>\n<li>Conduct weekly/monthly financial project review meetings with respective project management teams</li>\n<li>Assist with data requests for yearly audit and preparation of tax returns by external CPAs</li>\n<li>Analyze and manage the process for work in progress (WIP) reporting and closing process</li>\n<li>Responsible for oversight of the full cycle of accounts receivable and accounts payable as well as assisting in the completion of billing with the project management teams as necessary</li>\n<li>Perform margin analysis on projects for improved cost management and increased profits</li>\n<li>Create and analyze financial reports and ad hoc reporting as required</li>\n<li>Any other financial tasks required by Senior Management or ownership</li>\n<li>Additional duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Minimum Qualifications:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>BS, BA, or MBA in Accounting required, CPA preferred</li>\n<li>3+ years of construction accounting experience, or 5+ years of other accounting experience</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of construction industry accounting principles preferred</li>\n<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>\n<li>Proactive, with a sense of urgency when required</li>\n<li>Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment</li>\n<li>Proficiency in Construction ERP based software preferred</li>\n<li>Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>",
