When you work for Sciolex Corporation, you are working for a stable company that values you and is committed to ensuring you receive the utmost employee care.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Sciolex Corporation is seeking a motivated and adaptable individual to support and evolve our internal data and technology environment within the Microsoft ecosystem.This role goes beyond traditional reporting or narrowly defined responsibilities. While strong database skills and experience in Microsoft tools are core requirements, this position is intentionally open-ended and will play a key role in shaping how we leverage modern technologies—including generative AI—to improve internal operations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and problem solver who is comfortable working across both structured data (enterprise databases) and unstructured data (documents, SharePoint content), and is eager to build practical solutions that make information more accessible and actionable for the business. Your responsibilities will include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Design, manage, and optimize enterprise databases (Microsoft SQL Server)</li>\n <li>Work within a Microsoft-based environment, including SharePoint and Azure-hosted systems</li>\n <li>Create and Maintain SharePoint Sites, Lists, and Libraries</li>\n <li>Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions</li>\n <li>Build and improve internal tools, workflows, and automation</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot and enhance existing systems and processes</li>\n <li>Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate needa into technical solutions</li>\n <li>Identify and implement opportunities to leverage modern technologies, including generative AI</li>\n <li>Enable intelligent search, retrieval, and summarization of internal data and documents</li>\n <li>Integrate structured and unstructured data to improve decision-making</li>\n <li>Prototype and iterate on new solutions that improve internal efficiency and knowledge access</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications & Physical Requirements</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT and/or similar fields </li>\n <li>Strong database skills (SQL Server, relational design, query optimization)</li>\n <li>Experience working in a Microsoft-based environment (e.g., SharePoint, Power BI, Azure exposure)</li>\n <li>Strong problem-solving ability and analytical thinking</li>\n <li>Self-starter with the ability to take ownership and operate in an open-ended role</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders</li>\n <li>Development experience (e.g., Python, C#, APIs, or similar)</li>\n <li>Must be able to work onsite at our Chantilly, VA HQ</li>\n <li><strong>Must be a US Citizen, we cannot sponsor work visas</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Exposure to or interest in generative AI and document-based search solutions</li>\n <li>Experience building internal tools or automating business processes</li>\n <li>Familiarity with handling unstructured data (documents, file systems, SharePoint content)</li>\n</ul>",
