    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The Center for Human Development, Inc. is seeking a<span> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Head of Clinical Operations</span>, under the supervision of the Administrative Council (AC) team. The Head of Clinical Operations is responsible for the day to day management and smooth operations of the mental health and substance use disorder teams. They ensure that the relevant Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR’S) are adhered to, monitor quality assurance, develop and monitor treatment protocols, conduct utilization review, provide supervisor, in-service trainings and may on occasion provide counseling to those accessing services.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">CHD WILL PAY UP TO $3500 IN RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AND UP TO $2000 TOWARDS FIRST MONTH RENT! </span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Come work and play in one of the most scenic valleys in the United States. CHD values work-life balance and offers flexible schedules and generous time-off. </span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The Requirements</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Master’s degree in behavioral, social or human services related field; and a minimum five years’ experience in the delivery of clinical services, and three years’ experience in a supervisory capacity.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Licensure required.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Must hold a valid driver’s license and be insurable or carry insurance for client service purposes and for travel between business offices, the community and to attend required meetings and/or trainings.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Must pass all criminal history check requirements as required by ORS  181.536-181.537 and in accordance with OAR 407-007-0200-407-007-0370 and drug screening.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Knowledge of the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness and addictions and principles of counseling.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The ability to use independent judgement, including finely developed decision making, planning, analytical and organizational skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Knowledge of administrative principals including budgeting, personnel, human resources and supervision.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to communicate and coordinate well with a diverse population including staff members, professional consultants, agencies, customers and members of the general public.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to understand, interpret and apply laws, regulations and administrative rules related to mental health and chemical dependency.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Must be able to work with minimal supervision.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Must have excellent typing skills, have knowledge of basic office software programs and ability to effectively use such software. </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Essential Duties:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Provide supervision and conduct performance evaluations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Works to resolve conflict, as appropriate, and provides positive leadership.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Work with AC and Behavioral Health Director to plan agency goals and objectives regarding delivery of treatment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Provide supervision for other licensure candidates and student interns. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ensure that the agency is meeting or exceeding all of the requirements for the relevant OAR’s as well as the clinical contractual requirements as required by Greater Oregon Behavioral Health (GOBHI) and other mental health organizations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">When needed, provide after-hours emergency services on a 24-hour, rotating basis to adults and children.
