Learn more by visiting <a href=\"http://www.rickengineering.com/\" target=\"_blank\">www.rickengineering.com</a></p><p>This position is responsible for managing clients, employees, and projects in the collection of information and execution of surveying and construction staking projects, specifically within California&#39;s standards and requirements.</p><p><strong><u>Essential Tasks and Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Provide direction, support, and mentorship to lower-level staff members.</li><li>Oversee time management and scheduling for projects.</li><li>Write proposals and perform cost estimating.</li><li>Ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.</li><li>Prepare CAD drawings for boundary surveys, topographic maps, ALTA/NSPS surveys, land title surveys, as-built surveys, subdivision maps, and other survey-related documents.</li><li>Process submittals with various city and county agencies.</li><li>Coordinate construction bid document preparation and contract management.</li><li>Engage with clients and public agency personnel for successful project execution.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong></p><p>The preferred candidate will have at least five (5) years of experience in office mapping related to private land development and public works projects, particularly in California.
