If you do not have Osha 10, ask how to obtain it!</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p>  </p>\n<p><strong>Allied Universal</strong> is currently looking for <strong>Firefighters</strong>. </p>\n<p>  </p>\n<p>  </p>\n<p><strong>The Firefighter</strong> position will include, but not limited to, the following: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Firefighters will be responsible for the response to all hazardous material incidents as well as rescue situations involving but not limited to confined space incidents, aerial or high angle incidents, water related incidents, vehicle entrapment, and equipment entrapment. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Firefighters will be responsible for the response to all fire prevention and suppression activities of whatever kind or nature relating to structures, buildings, and other assets located on the plant property. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Firefighters will be expected to acquire a working knowledge of the fire detection, suppression, and transmission systems on the plant property including system operation, system deactivation, system support activities, and system restoration. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Firefighters will be responsible for the completion of various fire maintenance duties. These duties will include but not be limited to: </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>the pickup, refilling, servicing, delivery and required testing of plant fire extinguishers; low pressure hydrostatic testing; </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>refilling SCBA </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>inspection and recharging of C02 cartridges used in Ansul fire extinguish </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>fire alarm system testing; </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>hydrant testing; </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>fire department connection inspections; </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Hose reel inspections and any other reasonable fire maintenance related tasks. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Firefighters will be responsible for completing all fire, fire maintenance and fire system related reports associated with their work duties. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Qualified applicants for the Firefighter position will meet the minimum requirements, as described below:</strong> </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent required.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Must have a clean criminal record. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to successfully pass a drug screen/background check. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Individual must be able to pass a State level fit test and yearly NFPA Physical </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Must have Fire I & II, Hazmat Awareness, Hazmat Operations, a valid EMT or EMR certification  </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Closing</h2>\n<p>Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
