    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><strong>Your Opportunity</strong></p>\n<p>The Senior Project Manager is directly responsible for the overall successful execution and delivery of the project, both to the Client and Stantec, according to the contract. The Senior Project Manager represents Stantec and is the primary administrator and communications link between Stantec and all project stakeholders.&nbsp; &nbsp;He/she relies on past experience and expertise to manage larger and more complex projects, perform the project management job responsibilities with minimal supervision, and creates a plan to meet the client’s expectations and goals and provides a positive experience. The Senior Project Manager will also act as a mentor and resource to other project managers.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Capable of pursuing opportunities and managing all project activities, without oversight or support, on projects with the following characteristics:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Any size project</li>\n <li>Standard to Complex project complexity</li>\n <li>Standard to Long schedule duration projects</li>\n <li>Any delivery method (Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, Design-Build with Bridging Documents)</li>\n <li>Projects where Stantec is the Prime consultant, managing multiple subconsultants</li>\n <li>Proposal preparation, any format</li>\n <li>Preparing, reviewing, and negotiating contracts; including, AIA and client prepared formats</li>\n <li>Multi-Phase project design or multi-phase construction</li>\n <li>Management of Domestic and International Projects</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Your Key Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Drive the work on the project; set the priorities, procedures, scope and schedule; publish and coordinate project team member assignments with the Studio Leader and Operations Director; obtain resource commitment for all disciplines&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Manage assigned projects through all stages of the project lifecycle; including, Project Initiation, Project Planning, Project Execution, Project Monitoring &amp; Control, and Project Closure</li>\n <li>Follow and implement all established company processes and procedures</li>\n <li>Facilitate a project kick-off meeting involving all members of the project team and related personnel in order to clearly define the objectives, scope, design and schedule of the project&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Independently develop a detailed Work Plan for completing the design within the scope of work, project timeline and budget (Business Mindset); identify required precursors from other disciplines in a timely fashion, and track details/data/information/activities for proper project documentation&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Direct, coordinate, mentor and support the project team to meet the objectives of the client and the project profitability goals for Stantec&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Maintain contractual, business and financial related records for the project; keep the client, Studio Leader, Operations Director, and the Accounting Department informed on the financial status of the project</li>\n <li>Identify QA/QC requirements for the project and schedule appropriate technical reviews&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Manage the client’s expectations to a positive outcome; participate in client meetings as required</li>\n <li>Notify the client of changes in project scope, prepare estimates for additional design fees, issue work authorization to client and obtain client approval prior to performing any additional services&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Actively participates in cross selling of Stantec services and new project pursuits&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Make a personal investment in professional growth and development by seeking ways to expand responsibility, knowledge, and abilities</li>\n <li>Create and maintain purpose-built tools that support the Project Management of the projects unique to your Business Unit; including templates and standardize deliverables, to increase overall project quality and efficiency</li>\n <li>Develop creative and timely solutions to issues by assessing situations to determine the importance, urgency and&nbsp; &nbsp;risks; identify underlying causes, gather and process relevant information; make clear recommendations and/or decisions for resolution which are timely and in the best interest of the organization&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to add expanded services to the client in order to add revenue; notify appropriate Stantec personnel of the opportunity; responsible for repeat business due to respect and confidence in the PM from the client&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Manage a portfolio with a specific revenue target of $1+ million dollars annually</li>\n</ul>",

Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
