          "text": "<p><em><strong>About the HLA Technologist&#xa0;&#xa0;</strong></em></p><p>Participates in all aspects of ABO and donor histocompatibility testing including test management, performance, and evaluation.&#xa0;</p><p>Determines&#xa0;donor’s HLA and ABO&#xa0;initial&#xa0;typing within a pre-determined turnaround time.&#xa0;</p><p>HLA Typing using&#xa0;Real-Time PCR method.&#xa0;</p><p>Routine equipment maintenance.&#xa0;</p><p>Assists&#xa0;with quality control and quality assurance.&#xa0;</p><p>Participates in transplant&#xa0;on-call rotation.&#xa0;</p><p><em><strong>Note:&#xa0;</strong></em>This is a&#xa0;part-time position, meaning the employee will work on an as-needed basis.&#xa0;Hours are not guaranteed and may vary depending on operational requirements. This role is ideal for individuals seeking flexibility or supplemental income.&#xa0;</p><p>Schedule:&#xa0;Part-time&#xa0;(as needed, flexible hours). Donor Network of Arizona's HLA laboratory is a 24/7 operation.&#xa0;</p><p>Shift: Varies based on department needs, including weekends and holidays. Must be available for on-call&#xa0;requirement&#xa0;from 6PM-8:30&#xa0;AM, 7 days per week. 3-5 shifts minimum required per month.&#xa0;&#xa0;</p><p><strong><em>Requirements</em></strong></p><p><strong>Minimum Education:</strong></p><p>Meets current state, federal and other regulatory agency (ASHI) educational/experience requirements: doctoral, master's or bachelor's degree in a chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution or have earned an associate degree in a laboratory science, or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution.&#xa0;</p><p>At least five years’ experience testing in accredited Histocompatibility or Immunological lab.
