      "Value": "<strong>Trade Compliance Specialist&nbsp;- Decatur, IL</strong><br><br><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong><br>Audits, Controls &amp; Continuous Improvement<ul><li>Support external customs audits</li><li>Conduct internal reviews to assess effectiveness and drive corrective and preventive actions.</li></ul><strong>Broker &amp; Declarations Oversight</strong><ul><li>Maintain the master list of customs brokers and Powers of Attorney.</li><li>Obtain and analyze declaration data from brokers; identify risks and opportunities.</li></ul><strong>Classification, Valuation &amp; Compliance Operations</strong><ul><li>Oversee accurate HS classification and customs valuation</li><li>Ensure compatibility of business strategies with CETC and regulatory requirements (US and relevant Canada cross-border trade).</li></ul><strong>Country of Origin (CoO) &amp; FTA</strong><ul><li>Resolve historical origin/FTA issues and implement preventive measures (USMCA and other FTA)</li></ul><strong>Special Projects &amp; Program Implementation</strong><ul><li>Support CETC special projects and drive regional implementation across US and Canada operations.</li><li>Identify opportunities for new CETC projects to enhance compliance and efficiency.</li></ul><strong>Systems &amp; Data</strong><ul><li>Support data analytics for trade KPIs and compliance dashboards.</li></ul><strong>Required Skills:</strong><ul><li>Strong knowledge of customs legislation with a focus on North America (incl’ Canada)</li><li>Proven experience in trade compliance and internal and external auditing.</li><li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex trade data and regulations.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.</li><li>Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision and drive initiatives to completion.</li><li>Efficient communicator (written and verbal), adept at stakeholder management and training non-experts.</li><li>Extensive digital literacy; proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and collaboration tools.</li><li>Professional English language skills.</li></ul><strong>Education Requirements:</strong><ul><li>The TCS has a relevant university degree or higher, supplemented by relevant professional training.</li></ul><strong>Required Experience:</strong><ul><li>The TCS has at least 7 years active experience as a customs specialist, working in a &nbsp;large or medium-sized company. Previous roles should include the filing of customs and excise declarations, internal auditing, data processing, and reporting.</li></ul><strong>Additional Information:</strong><ul><li>The TCS will be working in the corporate Customs &amp; Excise Trade Compliance function of the ADM organization.</li><li>The TCS reports to the Sr. Manager CETC Canada</li></ul><br>Excited about this role but don’t think you meet every requirement listed?
