    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "Job Title: Commercial Bus Operator Lead \n<p>Location: Methuen, MA</p>\n<p>Reports To: Transportation Superintendent / Operations Manager</p>Position Summary: \n<p>Albertsons Companies is seeking a Commercial Bus Operator Team Lead to oversee and support our team of bus operators transporting employees between our Methuen, MA and Wells, ME Distribution Centers. In addition to driving responsibilities, the Lead will perform key administrative functions such as creating shift schedules, assisting in SOP development of the bus program, conducting road tests for new drivers, and ensuring compliance with DOT, FMCSA and company safety standards.</p>Key Responsibilities: Driving &amp; Safety Operations \n<p>- Safely operate a company-provided coach bus to transport employees between distribution centers.</p>\n<p>- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues promptly.</p>\n<p>- Maintain accurate ELD Hours of Service (HOS) records and comply with all FMCSA regulations.</p>\n<p>- Serve as a role model for safe and professional driving practices.</p>Leadership &amp; Administrative Duties \n<p>- Create and manage weekly shift schedules for the commercial bus operator team.</p>\n<p>- Conduct road tests and evaluations for new and existing drivers.</p>\n<p>- Assist with onboarding and training, including safety briefings and policy reviews.</p>\n<p>- Act as a liaison between drivers and management to ensure smooth operations.</p>Qualifications: \n<p>- Must be 21 years of age or older.</p>\n<p>- Valid CDL A or B with Passenger Endorsement.</p>\n<p>- Minimum 3+ years of commercial passenger driving experience.</p>\n<p>- Prior experience in a transportation lead or supervisory role preferred.</p>\n<p>- Strong understanding of DOT &amp; FMCSA regulations and vehicle inspection protocols.</p>\n<p>- Certified MA School Bus Instructor Preferred</p>\n<p>- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.</p>\n<p>- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.</p>Why Join Us: \n<p>- Competitive wages and benefits (Medical, Dental, 401k, PTO).</p>\n<p>- Associate discounts and career development opportunities.</p>\n<p>- A culture rooted in teamwork, safety, and inclusivity.</p>Our Cultural Principles: \n<p>Teamwork | Learning | Ownership | Competition | Inclusivity | Compassion</p>\n<p>Albertsons is an Equal Opportunity Employer<br>\n  This Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and does not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, ethnicity, religion, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, gender identity/expression, sexual orientation, or on any other basis prohibited by law.
