Job Title: Warehouse Support Specialist
Department: Shipping/Warehouse
Reports to: Production Scheduler - Shipping & Warehouse Supervisor
Location: Wisconsin
Date: June 1, 2026
Summary:
The Warehouse Support Specialist will perform all tasks involved in the shipping and receiving of support products and finished products for the facility. This involves following standard operating procedures, work instructions and safe work practices in all aspects of shipping and receiving, resulting in quality and efficient practices. The Warehouse Support Specialist will maintain data entry for the department, have a working knowledge of Microsoft Programs (Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook), have an overall understanding of the duties in the shipping/receiving department.
Accountability # 1 – Warehouse (60%):
Overall understanding of shipping and receiving processes, desire to use time and materials in the most efficient manner, ability to work with supervisors and all coworkers in a respectful and helpful manner.
Monitor all inbound and outbound freight is properly documented and conforms to Mariani standards.
Insure First-In / First-Out (FIFO) operations.
Oversee day-to-day operations of scheduling, bill of ladings and questions in the absence of the Shipping Supervisor.
Assure inventory accuracy by keeping warehouse organized and clean. Work closely with materials and accounting departments to maintain inventory accuracy.
Work with the production facility on projects.
Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
Willing to work various shifts as directed.
Ability to make critical decisions while following company procedures.
Working knowledge of ERP Software (NetSuite) and of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Responsible for food safety.
Complete other tasks set forth by the Warehouse Supervisor.
Accountability # 2 – Communications (30%):
Ensures clear and timely communication within department and with other departments to maximize plant/freezer efficiency.
Communicate effectively with outside vendors and trucking company employees.
Must possess the ability to work with customers, supervisors, managers, and all coworkers in a respectful, helpful manner.
Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
Keeps management team abreast of significant issues or developments identified during routine activities and actions being taken to improve the situation.
Accountability # 3 – Personal Growth (10%):
Respects confidentiality of privileged information.
