          "text": "<p><strong>How You’ll Make&#xa0;an&#xa0;Impact:&#xa0;</strong>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Operational Leadership</strong></p><ul><li>Lead daily operations across accommodations, restaurant, pub, and event center.&#xa0;Direct and support department managers and supervisors; ensure alignment, accountability, and performance.</li><li>Maintain consistent service standards, operating procedures, and guest experience across all business units.</li><li>Provide on-site leadership during scheduled rotation and structured oversight when off-site.</li></ul><p><strong>Staff Management &amp; Culture</strong></p><ul><li>Supervise department managers responsible for front desk, housekeeping, food &amp; beverage, maintenance, and operational support.</li><li>Conduct performance check-ins, coaching, and problem-solving with managers and staff.</li><li>Lead workforce planning, scheduling oversight, and labour optimization.</li><li>Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention in collaboration with Management and HR support.</li><li>Maintain clear communication rhythm:</li><li>Daily/weekly huddles when on site</li><li>&#xa0;Weekly operational check-ins with managers when off site</li></ul><p><strong>Guest Experience &amp; Service Quality</strong></p><ul><li>Own guest satisfaction outcomes across all facilities.</li><li>Address escalated guest issues and service failures.</li><li>Monitor reviews, feedback, and service metrics; implement improvements.</li><li>Ensure consistency between lodge, hotel, restaurant, pub, and events operations.</li></ul><p><strong>Health, Safety &amp; Compliance</strong></p><ul><li>Ensure safety of staff, guests, and physical assets.</li><li>Oversee compliance with WorkSafe, food safety, liquor regulations, and emergency procedures.</li><li>Lead incident response, documentation, and corrective actions.</li><li>Ensure departments follow SOPs and training requirements.</li></ul><p><strong>Financial &amp; Business Performance</strong></p><ul><li>Manage operating budgets across departments.</li><li>Drive revenue growth across rooms, food &amp; beverage, and events. Monitor and manage:</li><li>Wage targets</li><li>Labour cost ratios</li><li>Departmental financial performance</li><li>Work closely with Finance on reporting, payroll alignment, and cost controls.</li></ul><p><strong>Inventory, Procurement &amp; Cost Control</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee inventory systems for food, beverage, housekeeping, and operations.</li><li>Approve and monitor ordering, vendor use, and procurement practices.</li><li>Reduce waste, improve margins, and standardize purchasing.</li></ul><p><strong>Strategy Execution</strong></p><ul><li>Translate direction from General Manager and leadership into operational action.</li><li>Identify opportunities to:</li><li>Increase occupancy and bookings</li><li>Improve F&amp;B profitability</li><li>Strengthen event utilization</li><li>Implement operational improvements and new initiatives.</li></ul><p><strong>&#xa0;Reporting &amp; Accountability</strong></p><ul><li>Report to the General Manager on:</li><li>Operational performance</li><li>Financial indicators</li><li>Staffing challenges</li><li>Guest satisfaction trends</li><li>&#xa0;Risks and required decisions</li><li>Provide clear direction and expectations to department managers.</li></ul>",
