The role also involves providing leadership to other crew members on the job.</p>\r\n\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Duties/Responsibilities:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Assembles and installs solar panels on roofs</li>\r\n\t<li>Configures PV systems based on site conditions and customers' needs and expectations; connects panels to the power grid</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain high levels of quality assurance and quality control with an emphasis on crew safety</li>\r\n\t<li>Complete projects within established policies and procedures</li>\r\n\t<li>Ensures that equipment is weather-sealed</li>\r\n\t<li>Performs routine maintenance on PV systems</li>\r\n\t<li>Assisting the Electrician with connecting PV panels to the electrical system</li>\r\n\t<li>Train crew members up to speed on all components utilized during installation (procedures, tools, lines of communication, etc.)</li>\r\n\t<li>Check over provided jobs (pack out) before leaving the warehouse each morning to ensure provided material.</li>\r\n\t<li>Review plans and count parts from the plan set to verify BOM</li>\r\n\t<li>Responsible for final system walkthrough with the customer ensuring quality and aesthetic of install</li>\r\n\t<li>Cleanliness of job site and lon installation vehicles</li>\r\n\t<li>Responsible for following and actively enforcing all OSHA and ION safety guidelines at their location, including attending weekly safety meetings and safety inspections per ION policy</li>\r\n\t<li>Performs other related duties as assigned</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Required Skills/Abilities:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Extensive knowledge of PV equipment and installation.</li>\r\n\t<li>Extensive knowledge of electrical wiring and equipment.</li>\r\n\t<li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to read building plans.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to read equipment manuals.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to use hand and power tools to install PV panels.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to use ION technology, such as smartphones, Paycom, Field Pro, SalesForce, etc.</li>\r\n\t<li>Valid Driver's License and clean driving record required</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Education and Experience:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>A high school diploma or equivalent is required</li>\r\n\t<li>Solar Install experience is required</li>\r\n\t<li>Vocational or technical school training is preferred</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Driving Requirements:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\r\n\t<li>Must be at least 21 years old</li>\r\n\t<li>Must have a clean driving record as determined by a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Must be able to work at great heights.</li>\r\n\t<li>Prolonged periods of kneeling, bending, crouching, and climbing ladders.</li>\r\n\t<li>Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds at a time.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Work Environment:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Installation is done outdoors. Installers work on rooftops but also sometimes work in attics and crawl spaces to connect panels to the electrical grid.</li>\r\n\t<li>Installers work as part of a team.
