    "description": "<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>PeopleTec is currently seeking a <strong>Senior Software Engineer</strong> to support our <strong>Huntsville, AL</strong> location.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The candidate will work as the Lead Developer in a Modeling and Simulation Laboratory. Responsible for the development and integration of M&S / Virtual Representation prototypes. As the software team lead, the candidate will report directly to the senior Government customer. Candidate will direct the software team to integrate products into existing Joint Service Programs of Record. Candidate will develop software requirements to satisfy system requirements for integration and testing in live test events, develop and analyze metrics.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><u></u><strong><u>Required Skills/Experience</u>:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of 20 years’ experience in software design, development, and test</li>\n <li>Experience with Python scripting, embedded software development and JIRA</li>\n <li>Experiences supporting analyses and testing activities</li>\n <li>Experience with AGILE based SE sprint planning and tasking</li>\n <li>Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Familiarity with Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM) Representation Prototypes is a plus.</li>\n <li>Travel: N/A</li>\n <li>Must be a U.S. Citizen</li>\n <li>An active DoD <strong>Secret</strong> clearance is required to perform this work.
