    "description": "<h2>Position Overview</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Department:</strong> CVOR</li>\n <li><strong>Schedule:</strong> Full Time Days </li>\n <li><strong>Work Location:</strong> UAB St Vincent's Birmingham  </li>\n <li><strong>Benefits for eligible positions include:</strong> generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>What You Will Do</h2>\n<p>Coordinate surgical services activities and tasks in support of patient care.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinate the clinical patient care of surgical services.</li>\n <li>Serve as a technical or functional resource for staff and perform similar patient care duties. Assign, monitor and review progress of work. Monitor and report compliance with policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Coordinate shift operations including scheduling, assigned activities, and resources.</li>\n <li>Evaluate and oversee orientation and training of assigned associates. May provide input in the review and evaluation of staff performance.</li>\n <li>Oversee utilization and maintenance of supplies, instruments, and equipment</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You Will Need</h2>\n<p>Licensure / Certification / Registration:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
