The Human Resources Manager is responsible for providing leadership and counsel in the area of Human Resources across several locations. Mission’s culture provides employees a professional, safe and positive work environment with numerous opportunities for growth and success.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Reviews and approves employment actions including counseling and terminations.</li>\n <li>Consults with management regarding appropriate handling of employee relations issues.</li>\n <li>Handles employment-related inquiries and concerns from employees, referring complex matters to the appropriate staff.</li>\n <li>Answers policy and procedure questions.</li>\n <li>Participates in labor relations activities such as responding to grievances, participating in collective bargaining, etc.</li>\n <li>Develops strong interdepartmental partnerships across all levels of the organization. </li>\n <li>Conducts training and information sessions on Human Resources related topics.</li>\n <li>Ensures compliance with state and federal working regulations, as well as internal company policy and procedures.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree and/or HR certification preferred.</li>\n <li>Five years of progressive Human Resources related experience. </li>\n <li>Familiarity with union workplace</li>\n <li>Knowledge of employment law and practices, understanding of Company policies, procedures, and state and federal laws, with the ability to apply the knowledge to multiple situations.</li>\n <li>Practical experience in a production or service industry. </li>\n <li>Must be able to handle difficult or emotionally driven situations.</li>\n <li>Must be able to uphold the highest level of confidentiality.</li>\n <li>Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel.</li>\n <li>Bilingual Proficiency - candidates who are conversational in English/Spanish are preferred.</li>\n <li>Must have computer knowledge with proficiency in MS Office applications.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Mission Linen Supply is a family owned, privately held company, and a leading provider of products, services, and supplies to hospitality, medical, and industrial businesses.
