The role requires a balance of financial leadership, operational oversight, and strong cross-functional coordination. </p><p>The ideal candidate thrives in a small, scaling environment, is highly accountable, and is comfortable operating as both a strategic leader and a hands-on builder. <br> </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities </strong></p><p><strong>Financial Leadership </strong></p><ul><li>Lead all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management </li><li>Develop financial strategies aligned with company growth, manufacturing scale, and capital needs </li><li>Build scalable financial systems, controls, and reporting processes </li><li>Provide clear, actionable financial insights to support business decisions </li><li>Manage banking relationships, capital planning, and financing activities </li></ul><p><strong>Operational Leadership </strong></p><ul><li>Partner with the CEO to translate vision into execution and ensure alignment across the organization </li><li>Drive traction by ensuring priorities, goals, and initiatives are executed on time </li><li>Establish and monitor KPIs across departments, including manufacturing, operations, and financial performance </li><li>Lead cross-functional coordination, ensuring teams are aligned and working effectively together </li><li>Identify and resolve issues quickly, removing obstacles to execution </li><li>Drive accountability across the leadership team and ensure follow-through </li><li>Improve operational processes and build infrastructure to support scalability </li></ul><p><strong>Strategic Partnership </strong></p><ul><li>Support strategic planning, growth initiatives, and long-term business decisions </li><li>Translate financial and operational data into clear business insights and actions </li><li>Support investor readiness, board reporting, and strategic partnerships as applicable </li></ul><p><strong>Team & Infrastructure </strong></p><ul><li>Build and lead the finance function as the company grows </li><li>Oversee external partners (e.g., CPA firms, IT, purchasing) </li><li>Implement systems, tools, and processes that support a scaling manufacturing organization </li></ul><p><strong>Education and Experience </strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance leader in a small to mid-sized, scaling company </li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field </li><li>Strong experience in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments (preferred) </li><li>Demonstrated ability to operate across both finance and operations (COO or Integrator experience strongly preferred) </li><li>Experience building structure, processes, and systems in a growing organization </li><li>Hands-on experience with financial systems, cost accounting, and operational metrics </li></ul><p><strong>Skills & Mindset </strong></p><ul><li>Ability to drive execution and ensure accountability </li><li>Excellent at connecting people, processes, and priorities </li><li>Comfortable managing day-to-day business operations </li><li>Strong business and operational acumen </li><li>Ability to work in ambiguity and build structure from the ground up </li><li>Collaborative, practical, and solutions-oriented </li><li>High ownership and follow-through </li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications </strong></p><ul><li>Experience in energy, alternative fuels, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing </li><li>Experience in capital-intensive or hardware-based businesses </li><li>Familiarity with EOS or similar operating systems </li><li>Experience with fundraising, investor relations, or M&A </li><li>ERP implementation or system optimization experience </li></ul>",
