This role will work closely with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to facilitate referrals, manage authorizations, and track progress of the referral process.</p><p><strong>Referral Specialist Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High School diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Basic knowledge of insurance</li><li>Technical Diploma: in healthcare related field preferred.</li><li>Associate Degree in healthcare administration, medical assisting, or other related field preferred.</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in healthcare or other related field preferred.</li><li>1-year experience in an exact or similar role preferred.</li><li>Understanding of medical terminology, insurance processes, and referral procedures preferred.</li><li>Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and other medical software preferred.</li><li>Advanced computer, phone, and email including experience with MS office products.</li><li>Good communication skills, both verbal and written.</li><li>Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Able to listen actively and convey information in a stressful situation with tact and compassion&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Benefits &amp; Perks - your health and happiness matters!
