Description Sales Engineering Coordinator Regular Position, Full Time GAL Manufacturing If you are a forward-thinker interested in fostering a dynamic and supportive environment, then keep reading! We are searching for a result-oriented Sales Engineering Coordinator to join the GAL Manufacturing Team at Vantage Elevation. About Us Vantage Elevation, LLC is North America’s leading independent manufacturer of elevator components and systems. Vantage is comprised of eight business units including GAL Manufacturing; GAL Canada; Hollister-Whitney; Elevator Controls; Courion; Bore-Max; Thames Valley Controls and Vertical Dimensions. Through its brands, Vantage supplies almost all electro-mechanical devices used in contemporary elevators. The Vantage group employs over 900 staff in multiple locations across the United States, Canada, and United Kingdom. The Sales Engineering Coordinator Team’s focus is to assist customers with their needs both internal and external customers. The candidate works with multiple departments within the company and other local branches to assist with orders, estimates, updates, or solutions to various needs. Multiple departments depend on the Sales Engineer team to answer questions and to assist functionally outside the realm of their knowledge. As the industry grows, we strive to meet and keep up with changes to accommodate our customer’s needs. The Sales Engineer will also be tasked to learn new products, general training is provided to all staff as needed on the technical functionality of specific products. Requirements We are searching for a candidate with: Minimum Associated Degree Exceptional work ethic, time management, organizational skills, be able to multi-task. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). Excellent communication skills and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision when required. Duties and Responsibilities A typical day may include: Create orders and estimates for customers within the U.S. and internationally customers via phone and email. To manage and interpret customer requirements and specifications and assist customers to identify the specific parts. Confer with customers and other departments to assess customer requirements and provide sales support. Be able to work with various departments such as engineering, estimating, tech support, purchasing department, and manufacturing to ensure that customer needs are met. Assist in solving problems with shortages, damaged, incorrect parts, etc., will be trained on Sales Force to make a record of cases. Be able to work with limited supervision. Additionally, the work and daily responsibilities will depend on his or her ability to produce results from existing limited solutions and to maintain a professional attitude. Act as an escalation for the Sales Team and communicate professionally with customers on an “as needed” basis. The Sales Engineer will also be tasked to learn new products, general training is provided to all staff as needed on the technical functionality of specific products.\\n&nbsp;\\n\\nRequirements\\nWe are searching for a candidate with:\\n\\n\\n\\tMinimum Associated Degree\\n\\tExceptional work ethic, time management, organizational skills, be able to multi-task.\\n\\tProficiency in MS Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).\\n\\tExcellent communication skills and organizational skills.\\n\\tAbility to work effectively in a team environment.\\n\\tSelf-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision when required.\\n\\n\\n&nbsp;\\n\\nDuties and Responsibilities\\nA typical day may include:&nbsp; \\n\\n\\n\\tCreate orders and estimates for customers within the U.S. and internationally customers via phone and email.\\n\\tTo manage and interpret customer requirements and specifications and assist customers to identify the specific parts.\\n\\tConfer with customers and other departments to assess customer requirements and provide sales support.\\n\\tBe able to work with various departments such as engineering, estimating, tech support, purchasing department, and manufacturing to ensure that customer needs are met.\\n\\tAssist in solving problems with shortages, damaged, incorrect parts, etc., will be trained on Sales Force to make a record of cases.\\n\\tBe able to work with limited supervision.
