CityKidz is a non-profit, Christian organization dedicated to increasing resiliency and inspiring big dreams for Canadian children living in low-income communities by providing inspirational experiences and nurturing personal relationships, one child at a time.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Overview:</span></p>\n<p>The <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Coordinator of Community Outreach</span> plays a key role in designing and stewarding outreach strategies that ensure strong participation in CityKidz programs. Reporting to the Manager of Programs, this position leads community partnerships, recruitment efforts, and engagement systems that build trust with families and sustain a healthy pipeline of participants aligned with program capacity.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Outreach Strategy &amp; Pipeline Management (25%)</span></p>\n<p>Develop and lead a 12–18 month outreach plan aligned with seasonal campaigns and capacity targets.<br>Forecast demand versus program capacity and recommend strategies to scale or adjust outreach efforts.<br>Coordinate and execute approved outreach initiatives to support participant growth.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Partnership Development &amp; Stewardship (20%)</span></p>\n<p>Identify and develop partnerships with schools, community organizations, and agencies.<br>Represent CityKidz within community networks and external forums.<br>Evaluate partnership effectiveness and ensure alignment with organizational goals.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Data, Reporting &amp; Evaluation (15%)</span></p>\n<p>Maintain quarterly outreach dashboards including referrals, conversions, and retention indicators.<br>Conduct post-campaign reviews and recommend data-informed improvements.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Community Presence &amp; Caregiver Engagement (15%)</span></p>\n<p>Build a consistent presence in assigned neighborhoods to foster trust with caregivers and community members.<br>Represent CityKidz at community events, school gatherings, and local activities.<br>Develop and support community ambassadors to extend outreach efforts.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Retention &amp; Reengagement Systems (15%)</span></p>\n<p>Develop follow-up systems for participants who are disengaging or at risk of disconnecting.<br>Implement caregiver communication rhythms including updates, reminders, and check-ins.<br>Collaborate with program teams to execute re-engagement strategies across communities.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Team Support, Training &amp; Systems (10%)</span></p>\n<p>Provide functional supervision to Community Outreach Specialists.<br>Equip staff and volunteers with outreach tools, scripts, and training.<br>Create simple, scalable systems to support consistent community engagement.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications and Demonstrated Skills:</span></p>\n<p>Post-secondary education in Human Services, Social Work, Child &amp; Youth Care, Community Development, Education, or a related field, or equivalent experience.<br>Demonstrated experience leading programs, systems, or volunteer teams.<br>Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to represent CityKidz externally.<br>Experience in outreach, community engagement, or partnership development.<br>Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills.<br>Experience working with data, reporting, and evaluation practices.<br>Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.<br>Ability to build relationships with families, partners, volunteers, and teams.<br>Comfortable working in a faith-based organization.<br>Commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.<br>Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems.<br>Experience in risk management, child protection, or compliance environments is an asset.<br>Strong passion for the mission of CityKidz.<br>Valid G Class driver's license and access to reliable transportation.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What We Provide:</span></p>\n<p>Full-time, 35 hours per week with a mix of onsite, hybrid (after probation), and community-based work.<br>A unique work experience that provides purpose and the opportunity to create positive change in the community.<br>An opportunity to be part of a dynamic team where you can develop your skills and grow professionally.<br>A competitive compensation package including benefits.</p>\n<p>CityKidz is committed to an inclusive, equitable, accessible workplace, and welcomes applications from racialized communities, persons with disabilities, members of minority groups, and all who reflect the diversity of our community.
