    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the Role:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The General Laborer is responsible for assisting our foreman with installing all types of pipelines. Laborers utilize a variety of skills across multiple field sites to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and with the highest quality. Laborers must be familiar with running hand tools and operators familiar with Directional drills, Backhoes or mini excavators, must be able to lift over 50+lbs. Requires a comprehensive understanding of safety policies and procedures related to utility construction. Duties may include, but are not limited to:</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>· Perform basic gas system maintenance and construction tasks under supervision.</p>\n<p>· Assist in installation and repair of pipelines, fittings, and other gas system components.</p>\n<p>· Adhere to safety protocols and follow instructions from senior technicians.</p>\n<p>· Perform tasks involving physical labor at job sites in the field.</p>\n<p>· Operates hand and power tools of all types.</p>\n<p>· Cleans and prepares sites, dig trenches, cleans up rubble and debris, etc.</p>\n<p>· Provides assistance to other workers and operators.</p>\n<p>· Loads and unloads equipment from trucks.</p>\n<p>· Ensures that all work is being done in compliance with the company's protocols.</p>\n<p>· Maintains a safety-first culture and actively participates in safety training.</p>\n<p>· Additional duties as needed.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Minimum Qualifications:</span></p>\n<p>· At least 1 years’ experience in gas or pipeline construction, or relevant technical field</p>\n<p>· High School Diploma or GED required.</p>\n<p>· Understanding of English as associated with the jobsite safety and the typical duties required of this position</p>\n<p>· Basic understanding of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division</p>\n<p>· Apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions. Deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables</p>\n<p>· Ability to solve conflict, create team atmosphere, dependable, and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness</p>\n<p>· Ability to lift and carry heavy materials, tools, and equipment (up to 50 pounds or more).</p>\n<p>· Endurance to perform physical tasks throughout the workday, including bending, stooping, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.</p>\n<p>· Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Competencies:</span></p>\n<p>· Self-Motivated</p>\n<p>· Team-Oriented</p>\n<p>· Customer Oriented</p>\n<p>· Must be able to follow Company safety rules and all other Company policies.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical Demands:</span></p>\n<p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The employee may be subject to one or more of the following atmospheric conditions that may affect the respiratory system from fumes, odors, mists, or gases. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This position is performed in outside weather conditions.</p>",
