    "description": "<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p>Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential  opportunity for a civilian Radiographic Technologist ( CT Tech) at Keesler Air Force Base, in Biloxi, Mississippi.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This contract position offers:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Full-time opportunity | Emphasis on work-life balance </li>\n <li>Monday - Friday No weekends  7:30 am - 4:00 pm</li>\n <li>Employee status and a comprehensive benefits package to include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), and more </li>\n <li>Opportunity to work with active military and their families</li>\n <li>Shall perform all aspects of radiation therapy delivery and assist in administrative functions within the Radiation Oncology Clinic, as needed. Accountable to the Chief of Radiation Oncology</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Duties include, but not limited to:</p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Receive patients, explain treatment procedures, position patients, obtain patient contours, and confer with the Radiation Oncologist and Dosimetrist regarding the volumes to be treated. Simulate treatment, mark patient’s skin, and prepare specialized, tailor-made accessories; such as bolus, blocks, immobilization devices, and compensating filters.</p></li>\n <li><p>Oversee treatment and evaluate overall daily treatment operations. Ensure the correct position and alignment of fields, as simulated, and that all treatments are delivered as prescribed by Radiation Oncologist.</p></li>\n <li><p>Perform computerized tomography (CT) simulation for all patients. Check operating parameters of radiation therapy simulators, treatment system, and linear accelerators to ensure compatibility of simulation setup and treatment machine setup. Ensure all simulation documentation is properly completed and filed. Assist Dosimetrist during patient setup to record radiation therapy treatment parameters in treatment charts.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Position Requirements:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Degree/Education: Radiographic Technologist (RADIATION THERAPIST) shall be a graduate from a Joint Review committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiation therapist training program and have a current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).</li>\n <li><p>Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) </p></li>\n <li>BLS Certification<p> </p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Company Overview:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>At Spectrum, we utilize over thirty-five years of experience providing optimal solutions for federal agencies that are both innovative and cost-effective.
