Description The School of Nursing is seeking a highly organized and energized Project Coordinator to support day-to-day operational logistics, student success, and employee engagement throughout our locations. This role plays a key part in managing student data and projects from planning through execution, registration coordination, partnering on large-scale events, and ensuring alignment with institutional goals. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple priorities, including event coordination, budget oversight, data analysis, and stakeholder communication. Serving as a central point of coordination, this individual will help drive operational efficiency, support high-impact initiatives, and contribute to the overall success of the Operations, IT, Administrative Services, and Registrar offices. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Serves as a central coordinator supporting operations, IT, student services, and engagement by managing projects, data, events, and logistics—ensuring efficient execution and alignment with organizational goals. Coordinates the strategic planning process and monitors progress toward achieving project goals. Coordinates logistical arrangements for related conferences, conventions,meetings and other events. May assist in identifying funding resources and in developing funding strategies and initiatives. Develops and generates various operational and statistical reports. Represents and promotes the project at various speaking engagements. May write grants, reports, briefings, newsletters, promotional or other written material related to the project. Performs related responsibilities as required. ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS: As part of the administrative management team, collaborates with senior divisional leadership to manage and execute special projects, events, and business functional support related to Registrar's office Administrative Services, school-wide event management, budget and finance, and operations. Attends meetings with executive leadership, develops and manages work plans, and ensures or facilitates appropriate follow up. Drafts key communications such as presentations, reports, and policies. Leads School-wide engagement initiatives and large-scale event management oversight. Tracks and processes workflows within the Office of the Registrar including but not limited to prerequisite course and elective course registration and student communications. Conducts complex projects requiring comprehensive research and data analysis. Collaborates with internal Operations and IT teams to facilitate projects and ensure timelines and action plans are accomplished. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree in a related field and three years of related project management experience, or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years' experience working in a project management style environment. Strong background in administrative support tools and functions. Ability to quickly learn new workflows and technologies and adapt to an evolving field. Proven event management experience and success. Exceptional customer service skills. Ability to utilize relationship-building techniques to create an effective rapport with a wide variety of faculty, staff, and students. Ability to prioritize multiple high-impact services in a support role. NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location.
