Description
Overview
Monte Rosa Therapeutics seeks an experienced and highly motivated scientist to join our Biomarker and Translation team in Boston. Using a rational approach to targeted protein degradation, Monte Rosa is developing pioneering therapies across Immunology & Inflammation, Oncology, and other disease areas. The individual in this role will be responsible for designing and executing robust translational experiments in clinically relevant models to support indication selection and patient stratification. He/she will work in close collaboration with translational/biomarker, project and clinical teams to develop and implement internal and external biomarker activities and perform studies to support indication/patient selection opportunities.
Responsibilities
Independently develop and execute experiments in relevant models
Interpret translational data, generate reports, and present findings
Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality data to support key decisions
Design study plans, SOPs, templates, validation reports and other relevant documentation
Maintain laboratory instruments, reagents, consumables, and perform other routine laboratory tasks
Qualifications
BS/MS degree in Immunology or Cell Biology with wide experience as laboratory technician with 3+ years hands-on experience in a pharmaceutical setting
Extensive experience with molecular biology techniques including but not limited to CRISPR gene editing, ELISA, MSD and flow cytometry
Prior experience in working with human samples (blood, solid tissue) and primary cell cultures
Ability to maintain timely and detailed notes using electronic lab notebook as well as demonstrated experience using Microsoft Excel and GraphPad Prism
Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to learn a variety of new techniques and biological approaches; ability to work in a matrixed team and adapt to rapidly changing priorities and deadlines
