    "description_html": "<p><strong>About the Team:</strong></p><p>Culture produces in-depth, up-to-date and authoritative content on a wide range of culture and lifestyle topics including Chinese culture, health & wellness, food & drink, arts & entertainment, and travel.</p><p><strong>Purpose of the Position:</strong></p><ul><li>Produce original, engaging and accurate culture and lifestyle content that informs, educates and entertains.</li><li>Produce a wide range of culture and lifestyle content that meets specific user needs.</li><li>Work with the team to meet departmental goals in driving online traffic and user subscription conversion.</li></ul><p><strong>In this role, you will: </strong></p><ul><li>Regularly write stories – from listicles and explainers to spot news and long-form features – based on research and interviews you conducted.</li><li>Work with subject editors on the desk to generate content for their sections, and regularly come up with your own story ideas for both online and print.</li><li>Work on well-researched and well-sourced stories that are of high journalistic standards and quality.</li><li>Work closely with colleagues on Production, Photography, Design and Video to best present your stories online and in print. Always meet production deadlines.</li><li>Maintain the desk’s social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, X and YouTube and help boost the desk’s social media presence on these platforms. </li></ul><p><br><strong>Skills and Experience that will lead to success:</strong></p><ul><li>At least 10 years’ experience in journalism, preferably in English language media.</li><li>Excellent news sense and a knack for feature writing and good storytelling.</li><li>Proficiency in both Chinese and English, spoken and written preferrable.</li><li>Social media savvy.</li><li>Good interpersonal skill.</li><li>Familiarity of Chinese culture preferable.</li></ul><p>Work location will be at Causeway Bay office.</p><p>Our Privacy Notice aims to comply with all relevant data privacy and protection laws.
