As a Senior Land Agent, you will have the autonomy and responsibility to manage your work week in a way that meets the needs of the team, our clients, and landowner availability. This role calls for strong judgment, proactive communication, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage priorities independently in a client-service environment.</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span><span>As a </span><span>Sr </span><span>Land </span><span>Agent</span><span>, you will:</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Lead surface land acquisition for new and existing projects, including negotiations, amendments, rent reviews, damage settlements, etc. </span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>L</span><span>ead consultation programs to engage landowners and stakeholders effectively.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Act as the primary point of contact for landowners, ensuring transparent communication and </span><span>maintaining</span><span> positive, long</span><span>-</span><span>term relationships. </span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Prepare, review, and manage all required land documentation: </span><span>lease and right-of-way </span><span>agreements, survey plans, </span><span>non-objections, </span><span>notices,</span><span> </span><span>and </span><span>temporary </span><span>workspace</span><span>. </span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Obtain survey permission </span><span>and access consents.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Work closely with internal teams</span><span> </span><span>to support project planning and execution. </span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Conduct site visits, resolve landowner concerns, and support operations as </span><span>required</span><span>. </span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Ground truthing and </span><span>site</span><span> </span><span>/</span><span> </span><span>route scouting.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Maintain detailed, organized file management and reporting throughout the land process. </span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Stay informed of relevant legislation, industry standards, and regulatory updates </span><span>impacting</span><span> surface land work</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Prepare and </span><span>maintain</span><span> detailed consultation logs of any </span><span>landowner and stakeholder interactions. </span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Provide creative solutions during field negotiations to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Represent</span><span> </span><span>clients and</span><span> BRITT</span><span> Radius </span><span>with professionalism</span><span>, </span><span>sound </span><span>judgement, and discretion </span><span>when </span><span>engaging with </span><span>landowners, </span><span>tenants, and </span><span>community </span><span>stakeholders.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span><span>TO LAND THIS ROLE you need:</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>8</span><span>+ years Surface Land experience</span><span>, ideally</span><span> in a consulting services/broker environment</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Licensed</span><span> Alberta Land Agent</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks, balancing </span><span>priorities</span><span> and deadlines</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Robust communication, problem solving </span><span>skills</span><span> </span><span>and excellent organizational skills</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Take initiative and be self-motivated</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>D</span><span>iversity of experience </span><span>(</span><span>Oil &amp; Gas, renewable energy</span><span>, municipal</span><span> and telecommunications sectors</span><span>)</span><span> is preferred</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Strong knowledge of Surface Land </span><span>acquisition </span><span>procedures, documentation, </span><span>and </span><span>regulations</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>",
