We offer <u>competitive pay and benefits, and well-being programs</u> to support you and your family.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>To Learn More Visit: http://www.geosyntec.com/careers/.</p>\n<h2>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>This position is a senior engineering leadership role involving project, client, staff, and business development responsibilities, including:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage and implement challenging technical projects involving site investigation, remediation, and environmental due diligence processes.</li>\n <li>Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients, using your expertise to support Geosyntec’s growth through effective business development and client management.</li>\n <li>Task and project management, including planning and implementing investigation and remediation projects, budgeting and budget management, adherence to schedule, quality, client satisfaction, and profitability.</li>\n <li>Preparing engineering designs for construction and contractor procurement, as well as leading the development of associated calculation packages.</li>\n <li>Evaluate contaminated sites and develop remediation strategies, including feasibility studies, removal action work plans, and remediation design plans.</li>\n <li>Lead the development of work plans, data evaluation, and cost-benefit analyses.</li>\n <li>Implement remedial pilot tests and systems, including vendor selection, logistical coordination, permitting, and supervision of field teams.</li>\n <li>Write technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals; oversee and review documents prepared by project teams.</li>\n <li>Establish and foster trust-based relationships with clients, regulatory personnel, and other project stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Mentor and support early career staff in project execution, cost and schedule management, client relations, and career development; address performance gaps as needed.</li>\n <li>Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Education and Licensure</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil, chemical, or environmental preferred) (required)</li>\n <li>Advanced degree in the same (preferred)</li>\n <li>Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in California (required) </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Skills, Experience and Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>At least 7 years (8+ years preferred) of environmental consulting experience in the California marketplace; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required) </li>\n <li>Full understanding of engineering fundamentals associated with site remediation (required), with value-added for engineering competency in remediation specialty focus areas (soil vapor extraction, vapor intrusion mitigation systems, water/wastewater treatment, injections, etc.). (required)</li>\n <li>Demonstrable track record of successful client management and business development. (required)</li>\n <li>Thorough understanding of CalEPA and USEPA regulations. (required)</li>\n <li>Excellent technical leadership of multi-disciplinary project teams. (required)</li>\n <li>Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed. (required)</li>\n <li>Excellent writing and communication skills. (required)</li>\n <li>Regional visibility through involvement in professional associations or trade organizations. (preferred)</li>\n <li>Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing may be required.</li>\n <li>Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required) </li>\n</ul>\n<p>This opportunity will be posted for at least five days. Below are the potential compensation ranges that we in good faith believe are applicable for this role at the time of this posting and are only applicable for jobs to be performed in the specified location(s) below. The typical base salary range for this position is just one component of Geosyntec’s total compensation package for employees.
