    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p>Custom Truck One Source (CTOS) is expanding our Canada team and is looking for a <strong>Field Service Manager</strong> to support our growing operations.</p><p>CTOS operates service locations in <strong>Ayr, Ontario, Calgary and Edmonton, Alberta</strong>, and is part of a North American network of over <strong>40 locations across the U.S. and Canada</strong>.</p><p>This role is on-site and can be based out of any CTOS Canada location.</p><p>We specialize in <strong>truck-mounted hydraulic utility equipment</strong>, including:</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Aerial bucket trucks</li><li>Digger derricks</li><li>Hi-rail trucks</li><li>Cranes</li><li>Other utility and heavy equipment</li></ul><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>Are you a driven professional with strong heavy equipment experience? If so, we want to hear from you.</p><p><strong>As a Field Service Manager</strong>, you&rsquo;ll play a critical role in coordinating field operations, supporting technicians, and ensuring exceptional service delivery to our customers.</p><p><strong>What You&rsquo;ll Do</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Dispatch and coordinate Field Service Technicians for all offsite work</li><li>Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment (aerials, cranes, digger derricks, hi-rail, etc.) in shop and field environments</li><li>Review and verify technician work; escalate issues as needed</li><li>Manage incoming service calls and assign resources accordingly</li><li>Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and technician logs</li><li>Review inspection reports, repair orders, and timecards for accuracy</li><li>Update and maintain the Customer Interaction Center daily</li><li>Communicate with customers and internal teams to minimize equipment downtime</li><li>Partner with the Service Manager to improve operations and customer satisfaction</li><li>Support scheduling, including on-call rotations and reporting</li><li>Travel as needed (10&ndash;25%) based on business needs</li><li>Ensure adherence to safety standards and participate in CTOS and OEM training</li></ul><p><strong>What We&rsquo;re Looking For</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)</li><li>Journeyman or Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician (or equivalent experience)</li><li>5+ years of experience in heavy equipment, truck, or construction machinery repair</li><li>Strong knowledge of:<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\"><li>Hydraulics</li><li>Electrical systems</li><li>Chassis and track equipment</li><li>Utility equipment (cranes, digger derricks, hi-rail)</li></ul></li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagnostics</li><li>Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills</li><li>Comfortable using laptops/diagnostic tools</li></ul><p><strong>The Ideal Candidate</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Hands-on leader who leads by example</li><li>Highly collaborative and solutions-oriented</li><li>Committed to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction</li><li>Thrives in a fast-growing, team-focused environment</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Life Insurance</li><li>Accidental Death &amp; Dismemberment (AD&amp;D)</li><li>Dependent Life Insurance</li><li>Short-Term Disability (STD)</li><li>Long-Term Disability (LTD)</li><li>Extended Health Care Coverage</li><li>Virtual Health Services</li><li>Employee Assistance Program (EAP) &amp; Travel Assistance</li><li>RRSP (Registered Retirement Savings Plan)</li><li>Paid Vacation, Holidays &amp; Sick Days</li></ul></div></div>\n",
