We have an exciting opportunity for you!</span></p>\n<p><span>Our people division is growing, and we are looking for an Autonomous Systems Technician to join our team. &nbsp;The successful candidate&nbsp;is responsible for the on-board system maintenance for the Autonomous System during implementation of the Automation Project and ongoing performance as the project transitions into operations additionally the completion of Autonomous Haulage training at Nevada Gold Mines, Cortez Operations.</span></p>\n<p><span>At Nevada Gold Mines, our vision is to be the world’s most valued gold mining business by finding, developing, and operating the best assets with the best people. We are committed to a safe work environment sending every person home safe and healthy every day and leaving a sustainable legacy on our host communities.&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p><span><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Be trained and deemed competent in the operation of the Autonomous Haulage System.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Operate the system safely and in accordance with OEM manual and aligned to the Nevada Gold Mines safety standards.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Collaborate with field and office personnel daily to support the execution of the daily plan for installation and productive haulage.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Identify issues or system faults that are to be recorded and reported to supervision or supporting partners.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Offer first response to truck faults and autonomous issues. Troubleshoot system issues and report to internal partners for escalation or support to solve the issues.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Maintain autonomous hardware to OEM standard. Inspect autonomous hardware and base truck conditions, with calibration activities of on-board systems.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Training and competency in autonomous application.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Maintain base truck functionality to achieve physical availability which will include daily inspections and lube requirements.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Primary technical liaison for mechanical support including In-field calibration of on-board sensors and components such as GPS, cameras, LiDAR, radar and communications systems.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Install and configure hardware, electrical, and network technology systems on various Heavy Mobile Equipment assets post installation.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Point of contact for technology software installation, configuration and troubleshooting.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Develop and maintain in depth technical knowledge on the AHS system, operation, and support functions.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Provide technical service advice and information to partners and to OEM representatives.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Participate in scheduling the refueling of autonomous equipment and other maintenance or calibration activities with support of internal partners.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Identify areas for optimization and performance improvement throughout the shift and communicated amongst the internal partners.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Participate in the development of a training model, curriculum, and competency evaluation for Autonomous Operations and Maintenance at NGM.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Provide input to the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for autonomous equipment for safe operations.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Utilize employee engagement tools to gauge perception and effectiveness of autonomous project communications.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Promote open communication between all levels of the organization.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Participate in evaluation of all technology solutions regarding safety and health risk, production risk, and sustained feasibility.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Ensure a safe and environmentally responsible project implementation with all staff, consultants, and contractors.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Ensure adherence to the project budget, forecasts, and reporting cadences.</span></li>\n <li><span>Other responsibilities as needed.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>&nbsp;</span><span><strong>Qualifications:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Two (2) years practical experience in a dispatching role, preferably in a position in the open pit mining environment <strong>required</strong></span></li>\n <li><span>Five (5) years practical experience in, surface or underground mining departments under MSHA regulations <strong>preferred</strong></span></li>\n <li><span>Autonomous systems or operational experience is <strong>preferred</strong></span></li>\n <li><span>Demonstrated safety leadership capability for both self and team <strong>required</strong></span></li>\n <li><span>Excellent leadership, people, and communication skills to act as a “Change Agent”<strong> required</strong></span></li>\n <li><span>Exhibit outstanding verbal and written communication skills, as well as organizational skills, and analytical skills <strong>required</strong></span></li>\n <li><span>Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project required.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Proficient with emerging technology adoption preferred; and&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Systems experience <strong>preferred</strong></span></li>\n <li><span>Ability to maintain a high standard of working ethics&nbsp;<strong>required</strong></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>What We Can Offer You&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>A comprehensive compensation package including a competitive medical, dental, and vision plan with national provider networks, a 401k retirement plan with employer contribution AND employer match, paid time off, company-sponsored medical clinics, company match share purchase program, and much more!</span></li>\n <li><span>Work in a dynamic, collaborative, progressive, and high-performing team.</span></li>\n <li><span>Endless opportunities to grow and learn with industry colleagues.</span></li>\n <li><span>Access to a variety of career opportunities across the organization.</span></li>\n <li><span>Nevada Gold Mines is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><i>Thank you for your application, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.</i></span></p>",
