Other benefits include employer pension matching, shift differential, incentive/premium pay, free annual biometric screening, covered CEU expenses and paid volunteer time off.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>RiverView is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Physical Therapist (PT)- On-Call Status</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Location:</strong> Hospital / outpatient<strong>Position Status:</strong> PRN</p>\n<p><strong>Schedule: </strong>Scheduled as needed.</p>\n<p><strong>Pay Range:</strong> $44.40 - $62.17 (based on experience) including a weekend and holiday rotation.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The PT will work as a member of our physical therapy team to evaluate and treat patients in the outpatient, inpatient, and sub-acute settings. The PT is expected to effectively and professionally interacting with patients, family members, and other health care team members while maintaining RiverView Health standards of behavior.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What can we offer you:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Patient-centered, team-based, and collaborative work environment</li>\n <li>Competitive Pay</li>\n <li>Mentorship</li>\n <li>1:1 30-60 minute patient treatments</li>\n <li>Designated paperwork time</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>What are we looking for:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Individuals who have a positive impact in their work environment</li>\n <li>Strong communication and patient education skills</li>\n <li><p>Flexibility to work across inpatient, outpatient, and swing bed environments</p></li>\n</ul>\n<strong>Primary responsibilities: </strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Evaluate and interpret patient assessments to determine necessity for skilled services to develop physical therapy plans of care</li>\n <li>Develop and implement treatment plans that focus on functional and measurable outcomes to achieve established therapy goals</li>\n <li>Identify patient’s needs (physical, cultural, and psychosocial) and exhibit compassion, caring, and empathy to individual differences</li>\n <li>Provide guidance and education to patients and their families on safety and mobility </li>\n <li>Document and complete billing according to current standards and policies</li>\n <li>Perform data collection and obtain accurate information</li>\n <li>Effectively delegate tasks and supervise physical therapy assistants as needed</li>\n <li>Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes</li>\n <li>Assist in maintenance of equipment, tools, supplies, and inventory</li>\n <li>Adhere to ethical and legal standards</li>\n <li>Ensure continued competence and updated field knowledge</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li><em>Current clinicians</em>: \n    <ul>\n     <li>Current State of Minnesota license as a Physical Therapist/ PT or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure as a Physical Therapist / PT.  </li>\n     <li>Current American Heart BLS certification. If not held currently, training will be provided and certification must be obtained within 4 months from the date of hire.</li>\n    </ul></li>\n   <li><em>Current students</em>:\n    <ul>\n     <li>Clinical experience in inpatient and outpatient settings.</li>\n     <li>Requiring passing score on NPTE within 3 months of hire. </li>\n     <li>Current American Heart BLS certification. If not held currently, training will be provided and certification must be obtained within 4 months from the date of hire.</li>\n    </ul></li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>",
