Commitment to and support of the Company Core Values is key to success in this position.</p><p><strong><span style=\"color: rgb(44, 130, 201);\">Key Responsibilities</span></strong></p><ul><li>Communicates customer, regulatory, and organizational requirements to assure product quality, contract compliance and customer satisfaction.</li><li>Coordinates necessary personnel for internal, customer, and third-party quality system audits.</li><li>Direct internal audit programs and efforts.</li><li>Work collaboratively with Operations and Program Management to ensure internal, industry and customer specifications are reasonably and effectively identified and executed upon.</li><li>Design Quality Plans for new and existing programs.</li><li>During and at the completion of production, sign off on quality plans/work instructions and verify their completeness.</li><li>Identify potential areas for improvement and follow through on implementation of process changes.</li><li>Lead MRB meetings (disposition and corrective action as needed).</li><li>Maintains a corrective action system to analyze and correct nonconforming conditions and complaints.</li><li>Maintains a specification database, ensuring revs are current and up to date</li><li>Develop rework processes (when necessary) with Manufacturing.</li><li>Collect FAIR/Qualification documentation when needed.</li><li>Work with suppliers to improve quality, reduce scrap/rework, lower cost/lead times.</li><li>Identify opportunities to apply SPC analysis.</li><li>Manage calibration of measuring tools (performed by outside vendor).</li><li>Issue and Process NCRs, RMAs, and other quality alert documentation.</li><li>Prepare Certification Packages for production shipments.</li><li>Review and approve incoming Supplier Certifications.</li><li>Uphold the company core values</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong><span style=\"color: rgb(44, 130, 201);\">Qualifications &amp; Experience</span></strong></p><ul><li>Excellent attention to detail &amp; communication skills, both written and oral&nbsp;</li><li>Software proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.</li><li>NADCAP accreditation experience desired.</li><li>2 to 5 years prior Quality Engineering experience, preferably in Aerospace or Contract Manufacturing environment</li><li>Minimum 1 year exposure within an AS9100 environment. <em>(AS9100 Lead Auditor certified desired)</em></li><li>Must be adaptable to a changing work environment and competing demands</li><li>Experience creating in-process inspection control plans.</li><li>Experience working with Engineering/Production to troubleshoot issues and defects.</li><li>Experience with quality tools and methodologies in a production environment.</li><li>Certification by the American Society for Quality (ASQ) as a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), or Certified Quality Manager (CQMgr) preferred, not required.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with quality improvement tools and techniques (i.e., Lean, Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control, and Failure Mode &amp; Effects Analysis) required.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to pass a drug screen &amp; background check per Vitesse&rsquo;s pre-employment requirements.</li></ul><p>Vitesse Systems Parent, LLC performs work controlled by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR). &nbsp;These statutes require the protection of technical data and products. &nbsp;The regulations require that such data not be disclosed in written, oral, or visual form to any foreign national without prior export authorization from the Department of State. &nbsp;A foreign national is defined by the U.S. Government under EAR 734.2(b)(2)(ii) and 8 USC 110 (a)(20) as one who:</p><ul><li>Is not a United States citizen</li><li>Is not lawfully admitted for permanent residence in the U.S.</li><li>Does not have politically protected status (embassy, refugee, or asylum)</li></ul><p><em>Vitesse Systems, LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action (EEO/AA) Veterans / Disabled Employer.</em></p>\n",
