As part of this role, all Pipefitters will receive IRATA Rope Access Training and Certification to support maintenance operations at site.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Details:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Long-term maintenance opportunity with stability and career growth</li>\n <li>Immediate start available</li>\n <li>Local position based in Kitimat, BC</li>\n <li>40-hour work week with overtime opportunities</li>\n <li>Salary range up to $58.00/hr. depending on certifications</li>\n <li>We are able to offer up to 3 months of temporary housing to assist with your relocation transition, if required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the project’s startup's success by implementing innovative work techniques, fostering a collaborative environment, and driving advancements in our operations.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Installation and assembling of piping systems.</li>\n <li>Interpreting blueprints and specifications to determine the layout and dimensions of the pipes</li>\n <li>Identifying and fixing leaks, replacing damaged pipes, and performing routine inspections to ensure the integrity of the system</li>\n <li>Testing and ensuring the quality of pipe installations</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Journeyperson Pipefitter Certification required</li>\n <li>IRATA Level 1 or 2 certification or a willingness to obtain - training can be provided</li>\n <li>Mechanical background and solid understanding of Hydraulic system pumps etc.</li>\n <li>Current safety certifications as required by client and provincial standards in BC</li>\n <li>Located in Kitima, BC or willing to relocate</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Core Competencies</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong work ethics</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain positive working relations with clients</li>\n <li>Exceptional safety and quality awareness </li>\n <li>Ability to solve problems and manage time effectively</li>\n <li>Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level</li>\n <li>Valid driver's license</li>\n <li>Clean driver's abstract</li>\n <li>Effective communication in English</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Additionally, preference will be given to the candidates with the following</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Proficiency/experience in trades/industrial settings</li>\n <li>Familiarity with LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) operations</li>\n <li>Background in mechanical operations</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p>The strength of Tacten lies in its outstanding people.
