This role is crucial in defining, implementing, and enhancing quality-related practices, ensuring inclusivity and diversity are integral parts of the process. The incumbent will offer technical guidance, support measurement methodologies, and foster an environment that embraces inclusivity.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Quality Engineer Essential Job Functions</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Quality engineering support for manufacturing and project management</li>\n <li>Develop inspection requirements; facilitate PFMEAs; resolve discrepant material issues and create and maintain quality document such as control plans and inspection plans</li>\n <li>Analyze data and identify improvement opportunities </li>\n <li>Act as the quality interface for a production team in responding to customer complaints using failure analysis, development of corrective and preventative actions and trend analysis</li>\n <li>Conduct audits, including closing out audit findings, create audit finding reports and determine proper corrective and preventative actions</li>\n <li>Lead and participate in intermediate company projects providing quality recommendations </li>\n <li>Support validation activity of processes, equipment, and metrology</li>\n <li>Create protocols and analyze data</li>\n <li>Support the Quality Inspectors to ensure that inspection plans comply with the relevant requirements of customer’s product requirements.</li>\n <li>Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Quality Engineer Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or in another Engineering Science</li>\n <li>3 years of experience in engineering in a machining or manufacturing setting</li>\n <li>Knowledge of quality systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards</li>\n <li>Intermediate knowledge of blueprint reading and GD&T </li>\n <li>Ability to operate a variety of inspection equipment</li>\n <li>Statistical expertise with DOE and Capability Studies</li>\n <li>Design software- Minitab</li>\n <li>Process management</li>\n <li>Ability to consistently achieve short and long-term business results</li>\n <li>Experience with ERP and quality systems</li>\n <li>Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)</li>\n <li>Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills </li>\n <li>Attention to detail</li>\n <li>Organizational skills </li>\n <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment</li>\n <li>Ability to prioritize and multitask</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>rms Company Benefits </strong></p>\n<p>As a Cretex Medical company, rms offers a full benefit package to its employees. Testing is conducted on a periodic basis to ensure that all chemicals are kept well below the OSHA permissible exposure levels.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p></p>\n<h2>Pay Range</h2>USD $75,000.00 - USD $112,000.00 /Yr.\n<h2>Pay Range Details</h2>\n<p>This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions within this job grade, based on our market-based pay structures. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions.
