Candidates must be comfortable drawing blood and traveling to any of AHA’s locations in the U.S.; 100% travel is required in this position.</p><p><strong>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><p>· Travel to various AHA locations throughout the U.S. and assist the local AHA team with lab collections in the long-term care industry.</p><p>· Obtains the proper specimen for test(s) ordered.</p><p>· Properly labels all specimens.</p><p>· Follow all AHA phlebotomy procedures and policies.</p><p>· Submitting accurate payroll time sheets and work/travel mileage logs to supervisor.</p><p>· Picking-up other specimens from facilities in assigned Route.</p><p>· Maintains a safe and clean work environment.</p><p>· Knows, understands, and adheres to all laboratory, client facility and/or OSHA safety standards.</p><p>· Maintains proper inventory of phlebotomy supplies.</p><p>· Correctly processes Requisitions which include initialing, recording tubes drawn, recording time/date/location of patient drawn, safely transporting collected specimens timely, and placing specimens to the designated location.</p><p><strong>BENEFITS/PERKS:</strong></p><p>· Full-time employees are eligible for group health insurance, after completion of the waiting period.</p><p>· Paid training.</p><p>· Flight(s), Rental Car(s), Lodging reservations booked and paid for by company.</p><p>· Daily meal allowance reimbursed by AHA’s Corporate Travel Policy.</p><p>· HOURLY PAY: Up to $25 hour</p>",
