The care team operates from a child-centered approach, providing a circle of support for the child, youth and/or family. As a member of the Care Team, the Residential Child and Youth Worker ensure that participants’ physical, emotional, social, educational and medical needs are met. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(35, 111, 161); font-size: 12pt\">Teaches children/youth to relate in socially appropriate manner through use of daily routines and activities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Monitors participants in a residential setting and ensures their safety and well-being.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Provides emotional support and crisis intervention to participants which may include non-violent physical interventions consistent with the behavior plan.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Ensures that participants’ physical needs are met by performing duties such as assisting with basic personal hygiene, toileting and preparing meals.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Maintain reports such as statistics, logbooks, daily activities on participants.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Carries out household duties such as meal preparation and household cleaning.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Administers medications in accordance with established policy and procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Accompanies participants to appointments and community outings</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
