    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>This Business & Accounting position is a part of a dynamic team at the New York School for Career & Applied Studies within Touro University.  The adjunct is responsible for instruction, course preparation, developing instructional materials, delivery, grading and assessment. Able to teach in person at 3 Times Square and through virtual synchronous delivery (hybrid).</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning</li>\n <li>Develop schemes of work, lesson plans and tests that are in accordance with established procedures.</li>\n <li>Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.</li>\n <li>Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<h4>Education/ Experience</h4>\n<ul>\n <li>Master’s degree required, Ph.D. preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong inter-personal and communication skills, Touro University emphasizes excellent teaching in a student-focused undergraduate environment.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, & Outlook</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Maximum Salary</h2>USD $4,000.00/Course\n<h2>Minimum Salary</h2>USD $3,500.00/Course",
