Your day will include:</p><ul><li>Operating the merchandiser safely and efficiently.</li><li>Keeping the sharp chain infeed deck full to maintain production flow.</li><li>Performing routine maintenance such as lubrication, saw changes, and guide adjustments.</li><li>Calibrating saw modules and monitoring equipment for operational issues.</li><li>Completing daily clean-up in your work area.</li><li>Following lockout procedures and adhering to all safety standards.</li></ul><hr><h4><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h4><ul><li>Operate log merchandiser equipment safely and productively.</li><li>Understand operational functions of all equipment in the area.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance and calibrations as needed.</li><li>Identify and communicate operational problems clearly for correction.</li><li>Calculate numbers for manual sets and log lengths.</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment.</li><li>Comply with all safety policies and procedures.</li></ul><hr><h4><strong>What We Are Looking For</strong></h4><p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or GED.</li><li>Ability to lift at least 40 pounds and work from elevated positions using safety gear.</li><li>Ability to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and pulling for extended periods.</li><li>Willingness to work any shift, including weekends, holidays, or overtime.</li><li>Strong commitment to safety and excellent attendance record.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Basic computer skills.</li><li>Experience in lumber or wood products industry and/or manufacturing.</li></ul><hr><h4><strong>Ready to Apply?</strong></h4><p>If you&rsquo;re passionate about safety and efficiency and ready to grow your career in sawmill operations, we&rsquo;d love to hear from you.
