Description
As a Hardware Engineer I here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be involved in the design, development, and testing of hardware components and systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support the creation of innovative hardware solutions that meet customer and business needs.
You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on an On-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the development of advanced aerospace hardware systems that contribute to the safety, reliability, and performance of Honeywell’s aerospace products and solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the design and development of hardware systems including schematic capture and PCB layout.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define hardware requirements and specifications.
Support hardware testing and validation activities to ensure product performance and reliability.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics. 1-3 years of experience in hardware design and development, preferably in aerospace or related industries. Basic knowledge of hardware design principles, schematic capture, and PCB layout tools. Familiarity with hardware testing and validation processes to ensure product quality and reliability. Experience with hardware integration and troubleshooting in embedded systems.

Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. Experience or internship in aerospace hardware design projects. Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to aerospace hardware development. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
