We&#8217;re hiring for both Day and Afternoon positions.</strong><br>&#160;</p><p><strong>What You&#8217;ll Be Doing</strong></p><ul><li>Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on heavy trucks, trailers, other vehicles, and/or heavy equipment. Typical repairs include, but are not limited to: engines, chassis and body components, accessories, hydraulic cylinders, brake systems, suspension systems, cooling systems, seals, wheels, and tires</li><li>Perform regular preventative maintenance and annual inspections as necessary</li><li>Minor to major engine repair, inclusive of electrical work</li><li>Minor welding, fabrication, paint, and decal work</li><li>Coach and support the development of apprentices</li><li>Record entries of activities including work orders, inspection forms, and material usage</li></ul><p><strong>What You Need</strong></p><ul><li>Valid 310T Truck &amp; Coach Technician License (Ontario)</li><li>Your own tools in good working order</li><li>Able to move trucks in the yard</li><li>Valid G Class drivers license</li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision</li><li>Computer skills to close out work orders</li></ul><p><strong>Nice-to-haves:</strong></p><ul><li>Strong electrical or suspension experience</li><li>Familiarity with Freightliner Diagnostic Link</li></ul><p><strong>Why Riverdale?</strong></p><p>We get the job done.
