The Mechanical Engineer Intern will support design and development of engineering packages based on customer and OEM requirements for production and retrofit applications.</p><ul><li>Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following with other duties as assigned:</li><li>Works under the direction of an experienced engineer, maintains or modifies basic mechanical/structural/payloads systems based on defined requirements using approved processes and tools.</li><li>Participates in teams to support the development of designs. Supports the documentation of design implementation.</li><li>Troubleshoots basic mechanical/structural/payloads systems problems.</li><li>Actively support engineering department goals and initiatives.</li><li>Coordinate with other departments as necessary.</li><li>Utilize internal drawing/document standards per customer or regulatory agency requirements.</li><li>Perform various administrative duties: CAD templates, Document Development etc.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities</strong><br>This job has no supervisory responsibilities.<br><br><strong>Requirements</strong>&nbsp;<br><u>Education and/or Experience &nbsp;</u><br>Candidate must be pursuing their BS degree Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related Engineering field and entering their Junior/Senior year of college fulltime.
