    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>The Warehouse Associate is a key member of the Millwork team, responsible for accurately picking, staging, and preparing orders; safely handling materials; maintaining an organized warehouse; and delivering excellent service to both internal and external customers. This role requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.\n<p><strong><u>Position Responsibilities:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Accurately pick, stage, and prepare orders for delivery.</li>\n <li>Safely load, unload, and move doors, windows, trim, and specialty millwork throughout the warehouse.</li>\n <li>Ensure products are stored properly to prevent damage.</li>\n <li>Maintain organized and clean warehouse aisles, racks, and staging areas.</li>\n <li>Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment in a safe and compliant manner.</li>\n <li>Follow all company safety procedures and participate in ongoing safety training.</li>\n <li>Provide excellent service to customers in the warehouse.</li>\n <li>Communicate effectively with coworkers to coordinate workflow and resolve issues.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2><strong>Qualifications</strong></h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Previous warehouse, millwork, construction, or lumberyard experience a plus but not required.</li>\n <li>Ability to safely handle large, bulky, or heavy materials (greater than 50lbs), and perform the physical requirements of the job including frequent lifting, bending, walking, and material handling.</li>\n <li>Forklift experience or certification preferred (company can train).</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.</li>\n <li>Excellent customer service skills.</li>\n <li>Simple math skills.</li>\n <li>Working in a warehouse environment in various weather conditions.</li>\n</ul>\n<em>Shepley Wood Products is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
