Description

Description Advanced V&V Engineer, you’ll be part of the Verification and Validation (V&V) organization, that performs and co-leads system V&V teams on Fire Alarm control panels and devices. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting the product validation activities for NPI and O&M projects, including Automation and Manual testing. You will support extending the internally developed test framework and utilizing the framework to perform tests. The custom test framework involves robotics, computer vision, distributed computing and sensor simulation. Extending the hardware test fixture framework will also be required. There will be opportunities to learn new technologies which is encouraged. Responsibilities Playing a key role in the development of a product offering-level System Validation automated test environment for validating Fire Systems’ product offerings  Defining and developing automated test plans, test cases, and procedures  Developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts  Delivering automated scripts as per plan, and providing updates to management monthly  Performing limited manual testing as required to gain domain knowledge and facilitate test execution  Collaborating with development teams to create component and system test plans, test framework, and code  Working collaboratively with local and global cross-functional product development teams  Reviewing technical documentation for accuracy and correct content Qualifications You Must Have Bachelor’s Degree in (Computer Science, Electrical, or Mechanical) or 10 years of Fire industry experience  Minimum 5 years experience working in Test Engineering, Test Automation, or related experience  Minimum 5 years experience collaborating with development teams to create component and system test plans, Test framework, and code  Minimum 5 years strong testing and troubleshooting skills We Value Experience working as a multi-discipline engineer (Software, Electrical, Mechanical)  Test Framework Development (Open source or Custom)  Agile Scrum master certification  Solution Oriented Test Strategy development   Budgeting and resource planning   Gen AI tools – Copilot  Leadership skills, Strong communication, and Presentation skills  Test Lab management experience   Experience leading a team of two or more  Programming experience in Python, LabView, OpenCV or equivalent  Operation systems experience in Ubuntu, Linux and Windows   DevSecOps tools experience in Jira, Jira Align, GitHub, Confluence   Demonstrated hands-on Lab experience BENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELL In addition to a performance-driven salary, cutting-edge work, and developing solutions side-by-side with dedicated experts in their fields, Honeywell employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
