    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>THE ROLE:</strong></p>\n<p>The Production Technician performs a wide variety of tasks to prepare and ensure the operation of new production equipment in powder and tea manufacturing. This position plays a key role in troubleshooting and changing out equipment. It requires knowledge of all production equipment and the ability to train others within the facility. It also requires the flexibility to rotate into various positions when needed.</p>\n<p>Team members in this position are required to maintain knowledge of the process flow, computerized equipment and be aware of hazards associated with the process as well as understand and execute standard operating procedures.</p>\n<p><strong>HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to perform all production jobs including, but not limited to Manufacturing, Packaging, Change Over, etc.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot equipment as necessary to minimize machine downtime</li>\n <li>Complete rapid change outs of equipment to minimize equipment downtown and ensure quality production in a fast-paced, growing environment</li>\n <li>Ensure equipment clearances with quality control before start of processing.</li>\n <li>Follow all safety procedures at all times. Report any unsafe acts or Comply with all company policies and procedures including safety rules and regulations</li>\n <li>Assist Production Management, Process and Packaging Engineering with planning each phase of new equipment</li>\n <li>Communicate all procedures effectively and train others, as needed</li>\n <li>Ability to train others on all jobs, equipment, products, etc.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>WHAT’S SPECIAL ABOUT THE TEAM:</strong></p>\n<h2>Job Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>None</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:</strong></p>\n<p><em><u>Skills:</u></em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to operate production equipment to Herbalife's specifications</li>\n <li>Ability to instruct and train people</li>\n <li>Good documentation principals, including legibility</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate/interact with Supervision, OEM representatives, team members, and trainees</li>\n <li>Compliance with all company policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Compliance with all safety rules and regulations.</li>\n <li>·Good math skills to compute yields, variances and troubleshoot</li>\n <li>Ability to interface with machine, controls and computers</li>\n <li>Ability to speak, read, and write in the English language</li>\n <li>Problem-solving skills</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em><u>Experience:</u></em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Working independently as well as in a team environment.</li>\n <li>Working experience as a manufacturing, packaging, or changeover technician in nutraceuticals</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em><u>Education:</u></em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or GED equivalent.</li>\n <li>Associates degree a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)</li>\n <li>Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or other regulatory experience</li>\n <li>Experience using High Speed Mixers, Powder Blenders, Fluid Bed Dryers, Sifters, Scales, Liquid batching systems</li>\n <li>Prefer 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing environment and at least 6 months at Herbalife, as well as packaging line experience</li>\n <li>Food manufacturing or packaging experience a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>US Benefits Statement</h2>Herbalife offers a variety of benefits to eligible employees in the U.S. (limited to the 50 States and the District of Columbia), which includes Group Health Programs, other Voluntary Benefit Programs, and Paid Time Off.
