We are seeking for a Senior Project Engineer to support our client, California State University, Los Angeles (CSULA), within the Facilities Services and Maintenance & Operations (M&O) environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on, process‑minded individual who can coordinate small capital projects, tenant improvements, and minor construction activities while working directly with trades, vendors, and campus stakeholders.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinate minor construction, tenant improvement, and small capital projects across the CSULA campus.</li>\n <li>Work directly with trades personnel (plumbers, movers, electricians, etc.) to understand scope, sequence tasks, and ensure proper execution.</li>\n <li>Assist M&O by communicating with trades, clarifying work requirements, and confirming the order of operations for each project.</li>\n <li>Schedule and coordinate dates, access, and logistics for project activities.</li>\n <li>Provide on‑site presence to offer guidance, answer questions, and support field execution.</li>\n <li>Help develop and refine process workflows, including integration and use of a Work Order system.</li>\n <li>Track project progress, identify issues, and escalate concerns when necessary.</li>\n <li>Support documentation, reporting, and communication between CSULA Facilities, stakeholders, and trade partners.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance, facilities construction, or related project coordination roles.</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of construction sequencing, field coordination, and trade interactions.</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate clearly with multiple stakeholders, including trades, campus staff, and project managers.</li>\n <li>Experience coordinating small‑scale construction or improvement projects.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with work order systems; such as WebTMA or Maximo are a plus.</li>\n <li>Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic campus environment.</li>\n <li>Ability to be on‑site regularly and engage directly with field personnel.</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required with strong relevant experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Salary Range: $97K to $110K/yearly</p>\n<p>Location: Los Angeles, CA</p>\n<p>Work Environment: Onsite</p>\n<h2>Our Company</h2>\n<p><strong>Cordoba Corporation, Making a Difference</strong></p>\n<p>Cordoba Corporation is a leading civil engineering, construction management, program management, and planning firm.
