General Summary: The Recruiter will focus on talent sourcing, candidate identification, networking and relationship building with potential candidates, attending networking events, and will introduce and monitor recruitment best practices including development and management of Marillac St. Vincent recruitment processes, procedures, and systems. Duties & Responsibilities Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, and performing phone screenings Take ownership of candidate experience by designing and managing it. Develop job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements Perform reference checks as need Facilitate the offer process by extending the offer and negotiate employment terms Manage onboarding and new hire process Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices Manage the overall interview, selection, and closing process Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations Job Requirements Experience/Education Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field A minimum of 1- 2 years of recruiting experience Qualifications Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust Excellent organizational and time management skills Comfortable making decisions independently Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders Proficient in Microsoft Office Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods Deep understanding of employment laws and regulations Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues Language Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Possess the ability to fulfill and any all office activities normally expected in an office setting, to include, but not limited to: remaining seated for periods of time to perform computer entry, participating in filing activity, lifting and carrying office supplies (paper reams, mail, etc.) The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20-25 pounds. At times, may require more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position. Fine hand manipulation (keyboarding).
