Discover all the possibilities of a career at Northside today.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Organizes, and staffs the work activities of the laboratory during each shift to provide laboratory services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>REQUIRED</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Associates degree in a chemical, physical, or biological science or medical technology from an accredited institution, plus four (4) years’ experience as a medical technologist/med lab technician.</li>\n<li>ity test. Color vision acuity is required to safely perform the duties of this position.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>PREFERRED</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Computer skills: knowledge of MS Office (MS Word, Excel); basic statistics skills.  </li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li>\n<li>Master's Degree in science</li>\n<li>Certified as a technical specialist (ASCP).</li>\n<li>Two years of Supervisory and/or management experience in a clinical laboratory.</li>\n<li>Expertise in assay development.</li>\n<li>Experience in various methods of nucleic acids purification (DNA, RNA)</li>\n<li>Knowledge of various platforms for real-time PCR (TAQMAN, FRET, etc.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of workflow for sequence analysis and/or DNA-fragment analysis.</li>\n<li>Ability to prioritize required duties and responsibilities, to define problems, to collect data, to establish facts and to draw valid conclusions.</li>\n<li>Ability to adjust to flexible schedule, varied hours, or work on-call</li>\n<h2>Work Hours:</h2>Mon - Fri: 11:00pm - 7:30am with rotating weekends \n<h2>Weekend Requirements:</h2>Yes- Rotating Basis\n<h2>On-Call Requirements:</h2>No",
