We’re proud to combine the resources of a large company with the values and care of a family-run business.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Essential Job Summary:</h2>\n<p>The Rail Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of an ADT (articulating dump truck). The role supports daily waste placement. The operation works in a fast-paced outdoor environment and must maintain a high level of safety awareness while coordinating with team members and supervisors.</p>\n<h2>Essential Job Functions: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.  </h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Safely operate an articulating rock truck.</li>\n <li>Perform daily pre-operation and post-operation inspections to ensure equipment is in safe working condition, report defects, damage or maintenance needs promptly.</li>\n <li>Follow designated traffic patterns and maintain awareness of surrounding equipment, personnel, and road conditions.</li>\n <li>Communicate effectively with team and supervisors via radio to coordinate safe operations.</li>\n <li>Identify and respond appropriately to unsafe conditions.</li>\n <li>Perform basic preventive maintenance such as fueling, lubricating, and cleaning equipment.</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspections, and operational activities as required.</li>\n <li>Support additional operations as assigned based on business needs.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements and Qualifications:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to sit for extended periods while operating equipment.</li>\n <li>Ability to climb in and out of heavy equipment multiple times per shift.</li>\n <li>Ability to lift 50lbs if needed.</li>\n <li>Good hand-eye coordination and depth perception.</li>\n <li>Ability to work in loud environments with exposure to dust, mud, and outdoor elements.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Information</h2>\n<p>This job description is intended to be an accurate representation of the general functions of the job, rather than exhaustive list of duties, responsibilities, or experience.
