The System Business Analyst reports to Regional Business</p>\n<p>Directors but has accountabilities to the operations leaders within the region and/or assigned entities (inclusive</p>\n<p>of, but not limited to regional CMO’s, CEO’s and other operations leadership as well as the ARH executive</p>\n<p>team). It is general practice that the System Business Analysts will have assignments that are complex and/or</p>\n<p>higher volume, serving regional markets, facilities and departments with finances while being a liaison to other</p>\n<p>finance related subject matter experts. The System Business Analyst will support by being consultants,</p>\n<p>liaisons and represent finance at meetings or on teams and committees. Individuals in this role must be able to</p>\n<p>effectively prioritize and communicate while providing guidance and education to other staff members</p>\n<p>regarding complex financial matters.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Ability to conduct and interpret qualitative/quantitative analysis of finance and operational data.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Be able to draw and summarize significant conclusions from the data and provide appropriate level of thoughtful</p>\n<p>observation and recommendations via presentation to enterprise leadership</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Core understanding of accounting, including the unique accounting practices of health care</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Advanced computer skills with strong knowledge of spreadsheet programs; experience with database and</p>\n<p>decision support systems is preferred.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Ability to assemble managerial financial reports and proformas from multiple sources consistent with and</p>\n<p>reconciled to audited financial statements and officially released documents</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Ability to communicate clearly with leadership, internal and external customers to understand incoming requests,</p>\n<p>and be able to translate and draw on the appropriate data sources to ultimately provide useful, relevant insights</p>\n<p>and conclusions</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Basic understanding of patient care operations, including the complexities of various hospital designations,</p>\n<p>markets, ambulatory clinics and related entities</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Proficiency in analyzing and explaining financial impact, explaining the operational rate and volume drivers of</p>\n<p>results and outcomes</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Ability to form constructive working relationships with various stakeholders, customers, colleagues, and</p>\n<p>supervisors</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Ability to simultaneously manage multiple and competing requests and projects concurrently while adhering to</p>\n<p>deadlines. Ability to perform under changing circumstances and deadlines.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Creativity to address unprecedented circumstances, access multiple data sources, and discover ways to improve</p>\n<p>existing processes and data sources. Ability to engineer new or alter current processes.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Demonstrate continued willingness to learn, while developing business acumen to achieve ongoing growth within the position and within the organization</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Strong attention to detail with the ability to learn quickly. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent customer service. Ability to gain respect and confidence with professional peers.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education</strong></p>\n<p>· Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, or related field from an accredited college or university is required; MHA, MBA or equivalent experience preferred</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Minimum Work Experience</strong></p>\n<p>· 1 year functional experience providing financial analysis of health care operations required</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities</strong></p>\n<p>· Strong data analytics, interpersonal communication, collaboration, problem solving, organizational, presentation, training, excellent follow through and prioritization skills. Advanced knowledge of common analytical tools such as Excel, Tableau; experience with Axiom Decision Support Suite desirable; project management experience preferred</p>",
