The CFO is a trusted and skilled counsel to the CEO and President in matters related to the development of the business and the organization. The CFO&rsquo;s business judgment, analysis, and department resources are crucial to the short-term and long-term success of the enterprise. Key contributions include analysis, projections, insights, creative solutions, and external resources for making decisions and resolving issues. The CFO reports directly to the President and dotted line report to the Corporate Services CFO.</p><p style=\"margin-left:.25in;\">Reporting to the CFO are administrative departments: Finance, Accounting, Credit, Inventory Control, and Purchasing.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:.25in;\"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Financial management to run the business for optimum performance.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Accounting and financial controls to protect the company and shareholders.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Cost control management to help maximize operating results.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Forecasting to allow the best possible decision making.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Risk and liability services to protect the company and shareholders.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Shareholder services and support of all Board of Directors matters as required.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Credit services to preserve customer relationships and increase profit at acceptable risk.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Services in areas such as strategic planning, legal, and acquisitions.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><br></p></td></tr><tr><td valign=\"top\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><p style=\"margin-left: 20px;\"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Minimum 10 years&rsquo; experience in a mid-sized company, including divisional CFO responsibility or other senior financial management roles, in a distribution business preferred.<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\"><li>Minimum five years&rsquo; hands-on experience with P&amp;L management (pricing, margin and expense management) and Balance Sheet / Working Capital management (accounts receivable, inventory, accounts payable and debt management).</li><li>Experience managing multiple departments and ten or more employees.</li></ul></li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience in companies whose operations included warehousing and logistics with a large hourly work force.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Successful ERP implementation experience in a distribution business.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience restructuring financial processes such as general ledger integration, accounting policy standardization and financial control standardization.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proven experience managing the delivery of the annual audit report working with external public auditors.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience executing acquisitions to include valuation, due diligence, and integration.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Professional with natural business acumen and excellent verbal and written communications skills</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Capability to provide trusted and creative insight and counsel in a variety of fields</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Discipline and organization skills to establish and maintain work processes</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to coordinate collaborative multi-department efforts</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Skilled collaborator in an executive team setting who can complete strategic as well as tactical tasks within the role</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&ldquo;Roll-up your sleeves&rdquo; mentality to work as a team player and coach to get the job done</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Concern for employees and strong shareholder values&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Advanced skills in business software such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree required, business discipline preferred.
