    "description": "<p><br></p>\n<p>We’re looking for an energetic and engaging <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Museum Facilitator</span> to support <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">family-centered, hands-on maker experiences</span> at our flagship location above Bethesda Metro Center.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">📅 </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Schedule:</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> Sundays, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM</span><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px\"> (including a 30 minute lunch break)</span><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">What You’ll Do</span></p>\n<p>As a Museum Facilitator, you’ll help bring creativity and curiosity to life by:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assisting with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">program setup, cleanup, and room resets</span></li>\n<li>Supporting open-ended, learner-driven activities across studios, including:\n<ul>\n<li>🪵 Woodshop</li>\n<li>💻 Tech Lab</li>\n<li>🧵 Textiles Studio</li>\n<li>🔌 Electronics</li>\n<li>📦 Cardboard Studio</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Engaging visitors in large, collaborative spaces such as:\n<ul>\n<li>🏗️ Big Build</li>\n<li>🎯 Maker Arena</li>\n<li>🧰 Materials Bar</li>\n<li>🌍 Cultural community projects</li>\n<li>👶 Mini Maker Zone (ages 3–5)</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Participate in <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">2 hours per month</span> of staff training and/or meetings\n<ul>\n<li>Occurs Monday–Friday, during regular working hours</li>\n<li>May be in person or virtual</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Minimum Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>\n<li>Experience working with families or youth audiences</li>\n<li>Passion for <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">exploration-based, hands-on learning</span></li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills</li>\n<li>Reliable, independent, and detail-oriented</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Preferred (but not required)</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Background in maker education, STEM, or similar fields</li>\n<li>Familiarity with the <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Maker Movement</span></li>\n<li>Spanish language proficiency</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Availability</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to commit to <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">at least two Sundays per month</span> (more available shifts optional)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">Our Commitment to Inclusion</span></p>\n<p>At KID Museum, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion</span> are essential to who we are and what we do every day.
