Our Dallas campus includes 60 private patient rooms, specialized inpatient rehabilitation and neurobehavioral units, ICU step-down capabilities, rehabilitation gyms, and engaging indoor and outdoor activity spaces designed to support healing, growth, and long-term success.</p><p data-start=\"545\" data-end=\"754\">Our interdisciplinary teams provide compassionate, evidence-based care focused on improving outcomes for patients requiring medical, behavioral, and rehabilitative support in a safe and structured environment.</p><hr data-start=\"756\" data-end=\"759\"><h2 data-section-id=\"115i9ww\" data-start=\"761\" data-end=\"780\">Position Summary</h2><p data-start=\"781\" data-end=\"1120\">The Psychotherapist works directly with the interdisciplinary treatment team to provide assessment and treatment of mental health concerns through individual, group, and family psychotherapy in accordance with established programming and individualized treatment plans for adolescents with co-occurring psychiatric and medical disorders.</p><p data-start=\"1122\" data-end=\"1334\">This role collaborates closely with nursing, rehabilitation, medical, and behavioral health professionals within a specialized inpatient setting focused on pediatric behavioral health and rehabilitation services.</p><hr data-start=\"1336\" data-end=\"1339\"><h2 data-section-id=\"1loxzvs\" data-start=\"1341\" data-end=\"1364\">Job Responsibilities</h2><ul data-start=\"1366\" data-end=\"3143\"><li data-section-id=\"psj3h1\" data-start=\"1366\" data-end=\"1510\">Develops, monitors, and documents individualized mental health treatment goals and objectives as part of interdisciplinary treatment planning.</li><li data-section-id=\"xo3kgx\" data-start=\"1511\" data-end=\"1652\">Provides evidence-based individual, group, milieu, and family psychotherapy interventions in accordance with each patient&rsquo;s treatment plan.</li><li data-section-id=\"15w3uh8\" data-start=\"1653\" data-end=\"1785\">Coordinates and schedules weekly individual therapy sessions and family sessions unless otherwise indicated by the treatment team.</li><li data-section-id=\"1j9etwr\" data-start=\"1786\" data-end=\"1908\">Works collaboratively with the Program Director to establish caseload expectations and group therapy coverage schedules.</li><li data-section-id=\"37rskb\" data-start=\"1909\" data-end=\"2021\">Maintains timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation for all patient encounters and interventions.</li><li data-section-id=\"1tsgt9r\" data-start=\"2022\" data-end=\"2145\">Provides psychoeducation, de-escalation support, and behavioral management strategies to interdisciplinary staff members.</li><li data-section-id=\"1t4529g\" data-start=\"2146\" data-end=\"2235\">Participates in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and patient care conferences.</li><li data-section-id=\"1rdt93n\" data-start=\"2236\" data-end=\"2361\">Conducts ongoing behavioral and psychosocial assessments to identify barriers impacting medical or rehabilitation progress.</li><li data-section-id=\"12uwhra\" data-start=\"2362\" data-end=\"2489\">Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity and effectiveness of behavioral and clinical interventions.</li><li data-section-id=\"gp797p\" data-start=\"2490\" data-end=\"2636\">Communicates treatment updates, behavioral concerns, patient progress, and recommendations to the Program Director and Program Medical Director.</li><li data-section-id=\"19gak6a\"
